  • Arghya offered to the setting sun, then again to the rising sun

  • Bamboo soop trays carried to the river heaped with fruit and sugarcane

Bihar, Jharkhand, eastern Uttar Pradesh and Nepal's Terai — and wherever people from those places have moved, which is why Mumbai and Delhi riverbanks fill too.
